Privacy notice
Last updated October 2026.
This notice describes how Alpine Wire & Cable, a division of Alpine International Trading Company ("Alpine", "we"), handles information collected through this website.
What we collect
When you send a request through the form on this site, we collect what you enter: your name, company, work email address, phone number if given, your role, project details, the cable schedule and any notes. Documents you send by email in connection with a request are handled in the same way.
The site is hosted by Wix.com Ltd., which processes technical data needed to deliver web pages, such as IP address and browser type, and stores form submissions on our behalf. The request form stores a session token in your browser so that it can send the request. This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Its typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.
How we use it
- To prepare and send the quotation or answer you asked for
- To communicate with you about that request and any resulting order
- To keep business records of quotations and orders
We do not sell personal information and do not use it for advertising.
Who receives it
To prepare a quotation we may share the technical content of a request, such as sizes, lengths, specifications and delivery location, with the manufacturers, inspectors and carriers involved. Some of these are located outside the United States. We share contact details with them only where needed to perform an order. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
Project documents
Drawings, specifications and schedules you send are treated as confidential to your project and are used only for the request they were sent with. If you need a confidentiality agreement in place before sending documents, say so in the schedule box of the request form; the agreement is exchanged by email before any documents are sent.
Retention
We keep requests and the documents sent with them for as long as needed to respond, to perform any resulting order and to meet record-keeping obligations. You may ask us to delete a request that did not lead to an order.
Your choices
You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy law. Send requests through the request form, stating "privacy request" in the schedule box. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Security
Submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored with access limited to the people who handle quotations and orders. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes
We will post any change to this notice on this page.
